Technical Requirements

Minimum Hardware Requirements

• CPU: 2.66 GHz or faster, 4 cores or more recommended
• RAM: 4 GB or higher recommended
• Audio card: DirectSound compatible
• Video card: Nvidia / ATI -grade GPU to allow for hardware-accelerated Zetta user interface rendering
• Sufficient amount of disk space to store audio files (on the server and locally, if playing from local cache)
• Available USB port (if licensed via a hardware dongle)

Software Requirements

• Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008. Both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems are supported, but to fully utilize memory capacity, a 64-bit OS is highly recommended.
• .NET Framework 4.0 will be installed if not already present
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express edition will be installed if a SQL instance is not available; Express edition is only suitable for smaller sites.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The specifications are appropriate for a maximum of 10 stations with no more than 10,000 elements in the media library. A larger number of stations or library size will increase the memory and processor speed requirements necessary for satisfactory performance. Zetta should be the only broadcast or audio application running on your studio computer.
